Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 confirmed for Xbox Series X, check out the new trailer

Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have confirmed that Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines 2 will be going next-gen with confirmation that the game will be released on Xbox Series X. The reveal came during the Inside Xbox Series X showcase in which a new trailer was debuted. The trailer is titled ‘Come Dance’ and it has a very happy go lucky song choice which kind of clashes with the visuals of blood and death. At least the vampires are enjoying themselves though even if the humans are not.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was originally meant to launch in Q1 2020 but was delayed as the studio needed more time to finish the game, and there has been no information regarding a new date. Stefan got to preview the game last year and this is what he wrote in his impressions:

A key side to the vampiric life is deciding just how much to embrace and enable the blood lust within you. Feeding regularly will make you more powerful in combat, but the brutality of this and other choices you make can cause you to gradually lose your humanity – this in and of itself will open up new story paths and dialogue options to explore. On the other side of things, you can avoid feeding the beast within, at the risk of losing control and slipping into a frenzy.

If the full game can live up to the promise of the demo, with its intimate depiction of a more historic Seattle, the messy sprawl of different clans and a world that adapts to your actions and meaningful choices, this will easily be one of the games of next year. I can’t wait to see more.

We shall hopefully have many more details about Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 in the near future.
