UEFA Euro 2020 content now available in eFootball PES 2020 through Data Pack 7

Football is slowly starting to return in some places. A couple of weeks ago the German Bundesliga returned, and over the next few weeks the Premier League and La Liga are set to re-commence behind closed doors. However there is no UEFA Euro 2020. However, Konami has released Data Pack 7 for eFootball PES 2020 which has added the UEFA Euro 2020 content, which has been adjusted since the actual real life tournament has been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19. There is plenty of content and you can at least play through a virtual version of the football tournament, though it may be difficult to recreate the atmosphere of such a spectacle.

The content of the Euro 2020 update includes:

  • All 55 UEFA national teams, squad rosters and existing kits
  • Official UEFA EURO 2020™ tournament mode
  • Faithful and highly realistic recreations of Wembley Stadium and Saint Petersburg Stadium
  • Official UEFA EURO 2020™ Group Stage match ball
  • UEFA EURO 2020™ Featured Players, themed Matchdays and other in-game events are planned, with further information to be shared later

In addition, seven new Iconic Moment Series Legends have been added to myClub, and they are Dennis Bergkamp, Emmanuel Petit, Robert Pirès, Íker Casillas Fernández, Roberto Carlos da Silva Rocha, José María Gutiérrez Hernández, and Fernando Morientes.

When I reviewed eFootball PES 2020 I wrote:

eFootball PES 2020 may be a symbolic start of a new era for Konami, but it feels like not much has changed over last year’s version of the game. In fact, it might even be that last year’s version plays a shade better compared to this version. When PES 2020 works properly it is sublime, but issues on the pitch need addressed to really be considered worth upgrading.
