The PC Engine Core Grafx Mini is now shipping in the UK

Konami’s PC Engine Core Grafx Mini was meant to launch in March but was delayed to due.. honestly I don;t need to finish the sentence do I, you know why. Anyway, good news everyone, the mini console, which is exclusive to Amazon in the UK, is now shipping!

We reviewed the tiny beast a few weeks ago and said “An absolute must-buy for classic shoot ’em up fans the PC Engine Core Grafx Mini also has plenty of games from other genres to keep you entertained. There are some duffers and the duplicates are pointless, but the huge number of great games outweigh the fillers.”

You can read the full review here.

With R-Type, Salamander and Gradius the console neatly packages the grand daddies of shoot ’em ups in one box along with near-perfect conversions of Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, Splatterhouse, and Hideo Kojima’s first game, Snatcher.

The PC Engine, which was known as the Turbo Grafx 16 in the UK, never really caught on here so this is the first chance many gamers will get to play the classic console.
