Sony Interactive Entertainment and Illfonic are beckoning players back to the hostile jungles of Predator: Hunting Grounds with a free bundle of content alongside the game’s latest paid DLC drop.
The free July content update adds more than thirty unlockable cosmetic items to dress up your Fireteam and Predator classes including weapon camos and skins. Illfonic are also adding new Predator to Hunting Grounds with the Alpha Predator being unlocked when you hit level 100.
The developer, also known for Friday the 13th: The Video Game and Dead Alliance, shared details on Predator’s third premium DLC, too. Arriving later this month on July 28th, this upcoming pack will include The City Hunter Predator, equipped with a Combistick and Wrist Launcher. Expect this DLC to be priced between £3.99 to £5.79 based on the two previous packs which have included Dutch 2025 as a playable Fireteam character as well as a samurai themed Predator.
Those booting up Predator: Hunting Grounds for the first time in a while will also notice that a new title update is available. Patch 1.14 adds the aforementioned free content as well while making some general fixes to the game:
- General stability fixes
- Implemented EOS invite support
- Fixed crashes related to executions
- Fixed crash related to swapping weapons
- Fixed an issue where the AI would sometimes not be able to detect crouched players that were right in front of them
- Improved lighting throughout the map

In our review of Predator: Hunting Grounds, we scored the game a decent 6/10, concluding:
Predator: Hunting Grounds is a decent multiplayer romp with just enough content and ideas to make it worthwhile. It’s a huge improvement over Ifflonic’s last game, Dead Alliance, and one that’s definitely pumped up thanks to having a popular license to lean on.
