Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch this November

The excellent dinosaur park management game Jurassic World Evolution is coming to Nintendo Switch on 3rd November, Frontier Developments have revealed, and it’s bringing all the DLC expansions and added dinosaurs with it!

Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition bundles together the base game with everything that followed, including the narrative expansions Secrets of Doctor Wu, Claire’s Sanctuary and Return to Jurassic Park, which brought with it a whole host of 90s dinosaur designs from the original trilogy and the stars of those films: Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum. Add to that the Cretaceous, Carnivore and Hebivore dinosaur packs, and that’s a huge amount of dino content!

Obviously there’s some compromises that have had to be made along the way, such as a reduced resolution and level of detail compared to the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game, but it’s yet another ambitious port to Nintendo’s hybrid handheld console.

In our Jurassic World Evolution review, we said:

Business management games don’t come much cooler than Jurassic World Evolution, and as subject matter goes it has done the the franchise proud. The dinosaurs look fantastic, the park building is easy and coherent, and the ensuing chaos when it goes a little bit off the rails can be frantic and enthralling. It’s pacing where the game struggles a little, with a few too many sedentary moments stretching your patience, but you’re not likely to get any closer to building your own park packed with once extinct animals than this.

Things got even more fan-pleasing with the Jurassic Park story DLC:

With this latest batch of DLC, Frontier have taken Jurassic World Evolution to its natural conclusion. All that budding dinosaur park owners ever really wanted to do was create their own Jurassic Park and now they can, buoyed along by the deeply welcome return of the franchise’s most recognisable stars.

So, who’s up for some dino wrangling in bed?
