A naughty filthmonger has been hacking various Dead or Alive games, removing all the clothes from the nubile nymphs and then recording footage of them them in the buff and selling it on DVD via auction sites. Koei Tecmo have decided this is malicious content and have instigated legal action against the unnamed individual. Both a legal and civil suit are planned to claim damages from the boob baron.
Apparently naked ladies are just a step to far for the Dead or Alive franchise, which is quite something considering the ‘features’ the series has previously included. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune added three “VR paradises” to play with PSVR in which “you’ll be able to clearly see the girl’s expression, really highlighting her cuteness!”. Alternatively you can smoosh your face right in to her boobs.
For some reason Sony were fine with a little VR motorboating but drew the line at the boob softening gel found Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet and had it removed. Nintendo had no qualms about making lady lumps more pliable and left the boob gel in the game.
Koei Tecmo’s Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 was never released in western territories as the developers did not want be drawn in to a debate about the depiction of women in videogames.
“Do you know many issues happening in video game industry with regard to how to treat female in video game industry?” said Team Ninja in a statement. “We do not want to talk those things here. But certainly we have gone through in last year or two to come to our decision. Thank you.”
Dead or Alive 5 Plus featured the inclusion of an unlockable mode which allows you to use the PS Vita touch screen to make the extremely well-endowed stars of the game bounce, wobble and generally undulate their breasts. You can view that filth here.
