Codemasters has released their next big content update for Dirt 5, Uproar adding a bunch of new cars, new career events and more to the game. Alongside it, the 4.00 update has been released on all platforms, with a 4.01 hotfix also detailed and set to be released as soon as it’s approved by the manufacturers.
The Uproar content pack adds four new vehicles:
- Duke Coupe – Rally GT Class
- Zenden Cup – Rally Cross Class
- Jackson Adventurer – Unlimited Class
- Jackson Eulogy – Classic Rally

The four cars are usable through 25 new career events, each either taking place at night or featuring night racing through dynamic weather.
The Uproar Career thread has new achievements and trophies associated with it through update 4.00, and trophy hunters will be glad to hear that this update will also add trophies back to the Energy Career thread. These will be unlocked for those that have already accomplished them.
The Uproar pack is available for those with the Amplified Edition or Year One Upgrade, and available standalone for £9.99/€11.49/$12.49.
Free for everyone, the After Dark Playgrounds Update adds over 20 items and night-time options for Italy and Arizona locations. Codies have also added classic liveries for the BMW M1 Procar, Subaru WRX STI RX Supercar, Subaru Impreza S4 Rally, and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI.

The iconic Subaru Impreza livery is now in Dirt 5
Then there’s fan requests. Private lobbies are now a part of the game, supporting up to eight players via invite. You’ll also have an area to view your game profile stats, and PLayground now has Verified Creators to highlight some of the community’s best creators.
Update 4.00 is out now, but Codemasters has already finished a hotfix to address performance and consistency on PS5, an erratic camera, crashes on Xbox One, and freezes/soft locks at the end of Career events on PS5. Update 4.01 is available today for PC, and ASAP for PlayStation, Xbox and Stadia.
