Developer Dustwind Studios has announced that its post apocalyptic strategy game Dustwind is getting a console release. This release is called Dustwind – The Last Resort which is a rework of the original game. The rework has led to changes in the game’s control scheme and user interface to provide a native console experience. Dustwind – The Last Resort has been confirmed for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The description for Dustwind – The Last Resort reads:
After the apocalypse the civilization as we know it has come to an end and the few people left alive have to fight each other in order to survive. These are hard times in the wasteland! You are the nameless heroine! A vicious assault has hit you hard. Without your memory and hopelessly outnumbered you go on a crusade, fighting your through your tormentors in order to take revenge. If you don’t act carefully and clever, you won’t stand a chance! During this adventure, it will occur to you that it’s not only your own fate that is on the stake but much, much more.
In Dustwind – The Last Resort there are 16 story missions to get through as you play as the nameless Heroine. Dustwind Studios has confirmed that the Steam version will get some additional tweaks and fixes too along with support of up to ten more languages. A release date for this update as not been confirmed, though Summer is the target. There is also no release date for Dustwind – The Last Resort on consoles just yet.
