We Are OFK new trailer shows off its episodic narrative and music videos

A fresh trailer has been revealed for We Are OFK, an interactive narrative series all about struggling to find a place in the LA music scene.

Announced back at The Game Awards in 2020, the game’s story features Itsumi Saito, who’s just moved to Downtown LA after breaking up with her long-term girlfriend, looking to make it big in the music industry. You’ll have to juggle practice, friendships, commuting and a full-time job, but Itsumi gets a golden opportunity to make her dreams come true. From there, it’s a game of texting, forging friendships between a group of 20-somethings, more texting, and maybe a bit of love.

The story will be told through five episodes, with five interactive music videos that are all debut tracks performed by OFK. There’s full-voiced dialogue, and the game explores original Los Angeles locations along the way. It looks really interesting, a slice of life drama with concept album vibes.

We look forward to seeing more of the game soon. It’s coming to PC via Steam.
