Deathverse: Let It Die announced for Spring 2022

Deathverse: Let It Die is the first game to be revealed during Sony’s State of Play, and the game has been confirmed for both PS4 and PS5. Deathverse: Let It Die is set to be released in Spring 2022. It looks like the game could be a follow up to Let It Die, as GungHo is attached. GungHo was the publisher for Let It Die. However, Grasshopper Manufacture are not attached to develop Deathverse: Let It Die. Instead, Supertrick Games seems to be the development team.

Deathverse: Let It Die is a multiplayer melee title in which players will face off against each other to win matches, and gain prestige by the looks of it. The trailer is a bit weird but does show action with various characters facing off against each other. The little blurb reads: “Greetings to all of you looking to relieve your daily stress and fulfill an insane desire for extreme self-expression. We invite you to take part as a contestant in a literal survival game show that has enthralled the world over!!”

Let It Die launched in 2016 for PS4, and at its height the game had reached over 3 million downloads. Unlike Let It Die, Deathverse: Let It Die will not have you fighting through a tower of monsters in an attempt to reach the top. We will hopefully get more details for Deathverse: Let It Die soon.
