Enlisted update 1.06 has been deployed and is now available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This latest patch for the free-to-play shooter follows a string of rapid updates which introduced custom games to Enlisted.
As you might have guessed, this option allows you to launch into whichever campaign, map, and mission you desire. It’s a brilliant way to learn the ropes, practice with vehicles, and scout vantage points, all while earning experience points.
With Enlisted update 1.06, Darkflow Software has raised the number of AI bots present in custom games.

Enlisted fans will be delighted to hear that a new Operation has started. During the Fiery November event, players can earn exclusive rewards by playing matches and crossing achievements off their challenge cards. Prizes include rare weapons and recruits, as well as vehicles.
Enlisted Update 1.06 Patch Notes
- Changed experience gain in Custom Matches: if there are no players on the opposing team you will gain 20% of the experience, if there is one player in the opposing team you will gain 50% of the experience, if there are two or more players in the opposing team, the experience will be gained without change. This mechanic works in test mode and can be changed or disabled.
- Fixed the inability to change the game mode when creating a match in Custom Games.
- Added a battle time limit of 60 minutes. At the end of this time, the team with the greatest points will win. In Invasion, Assault and Destruction modes, victory goes to the defending team if the attackers have not completed the task in the mode before the end of the battle.
- Frequent flickering, which would occur in the game sessions list in ‘custom matches’, has been fixed.
- The placement of the “Hide Full” text in the filters while selecting Custom Games, which caused the text to be cut off, has been fixed.
- Fixed the “Show Filters” and “Create Game” buttons which were previously overlapping in the list of game sessions.
- Added the ability to spawn on motorcycles in the ‘Battle for Moscow’, ‘Invasion of Normandy’, and ‘Battle of Berlin’ campaigns in Custom Games..
- Corrected the name of the mission “Gorge” in the Russian localization of Custom Games.
Enlisted left us pretty impressed when we first played the closed beta ahead of release:
“With Enlisted marching out of closed beta, we’re already seeing new maps, weapons, and other content being pumped into the game. Being free to play means we’re likely to see plenty of boots on the ground in the coming weeks, though whether Darkflow can keep these players hooked will ultimately depend on how they monetise Enlisted and how it balances in-game grinding with paid-for shortcuts.”

If Enlisted doesn’t do it for you, there are two other World War II shooters to look out for. Hell Let Loose just launched on consoles and PlayStation Plus (our PS5 review) with Call of Duty: Vanguard on the way – boasting a brilliant multiplayer offering.
