A gameplay trailer for the upcoming Terminator: Resistance Annihilation Line DLC has been released, showing off an action-packed slice of the new narrative campaign that will be coming out next week. Check it out:

Annihilation Line will launch on 10th December, a new story expansion to Terminator: Resistance for PC and PlayStation 5 – sorry last gen, you’re getting left out on this occasion, as this is only for the more powerful hardware and the Enhanced edition release of the game.

The new story sees Jacob Rivers teaming up with Kyle Reese and a squad of other characters with order from John Connor himself to go and investigate Northridge Outpost, a civilian camp that has gone silent. Along the way, you’ll get more of Jacob’s backstory, as well as be drawn to new parts of California as you battle against robots such as the T-600 and the HK Centurion, doing so with an expanded arsenal of weapons.

With the new content only coming to the PC and PS5 versions of the game, Teyon can try to be a bit more ambitious with their game and visual design. The game will feature DualSense haptics on PS5, while PC gamers will be able to enable AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution for higher frame rate graphics.

It might be disappointing for PS4 owners not to have access, but at the very least, you can get a free upgrade from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, both with a disc or digital copy of the game.

Terminator Resistance: Enhanced released earlier this year in a sweeping overhaul of the… less than amazing original – see our Terminator Resistance review here. The Enhanced release brought with it greatly improved graphics, as well as balance patches and updates previously released on the PC, including an Infiltrator Mode that lets you play as a T-800 series Infiltrator Terminator.
