Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will have its secrets revealed in an upcoming developer livestream. The online event is being hosted by Capcom on March 15, 2022, at 14:00 GMT.
Available via the official Capcom Twitch channel, the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak presentation promises 20 minutes of footage that will include new gameplay and monster reveals.
Announced in September 2021, Sunbreak is a major expansion, similar to Monster Hunter World Iceborne. Coming to both Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game later this year, it will transport fans to a dark new setting, brimming with dangerous new creatures.
In our Monster Hunter Rise review, we scored this latest entry in the series a whopping 9/10, thanks to new gameplay tweaks and innovations like the Wirebug and Palamutes:
“Monster Hunter Rise is an incredible game. While it may not feel quite as ground-breaking for the series as World did, it boasts a stronger and distinctly Japanese identity, and the changes and streamlined gameplay simply focus on the franchise’s true stars – the monsters. Rise is easily one of the best games for the Nintendo Switch, and one of the finest Monster Hunters ever.”
dition of new monsters – which have already been confirmed – should keep Rise on the agenda for years to come.
