Human Fall Flat has added a free desert themed level as part of a new update. Red Rock is now available for those own a copy of the game on PC via Steam, giving fans of the physics-based platform another hazardous sandbox to navigate.
Since it launched back in 2016, developer No Brake Games has continued to pump Human Fall Flat with free content and new game features. With the addition of Red Rock there are now 20 levels for you to explore, whether flying solo, paired up with a friend, or rolling in a full, 8-player posse.
The launch trailer for Red Rock gives us a peak at the platforming antics you can expect from the latest update. Aside from the usual clumsy climbing and bumping into things, there’s a focus on magnets and how these can help manipulate objects in your environment. Here’s more on what Red Rock has to offer:
Grab your tools and prepare to explore a BRAND NEW desert level, as Human: Fall Flat heads to the arid lands of Red Rock! This harsh environment is filled with all manner of challenges and puzzles: use the law of attraction to find your way through insane levels of gung-ho ridiculousness with the gravity gun. Also, don’t forget you’re able to bring your friends when going off-road to find out all the secrets of the canyon; seven pals by your side in co-op just maximises the fun.
With free content updates dropping fairly regularly, Human Fall Flat enjoys a longevity envied by most indie game developers. Much like party brawler, Gang Beasts, the silly, unpredictable character physics lend themselves to hilarious moments of gameplay with players off thwarting their own attempts to solve puzzles.
In our Human Fall Flat review, we scored the game a 7/10, saying:
“Human Fall Flat is a game that’s aware of how unusual it is and builds to its own strengths. Bob’s ungainly controls work particularly well in the invitingly designed worlds that let you play around, cheat and conspire with a co-op buddy.”
Red Rock is currently only available for the Steam version of the game. It will likely head to consoles at a later date, including PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Whoa – i knew they had been adding free content and i’ve even checked out a few of the new levels along the way – but i did not realise how many they had added. That’s tremendous support!
