The Xbox & Bethesda Showcase is set for June 12th but as usual the leaks are already, well, leaking. A banner advert on Steam has just revealed that the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle will include a Hot Wheels pack.
You may recall that Forza Horizon 3 also had a Hot Wheels expansion pack so some fans are a little disappointed in the repeat expansion.
It was recently revealed that Forza Horizon 5 has over 18 million players. In our Forza Horizon 5 review, Dom wrote “Forza Horizon 5 continues the series’ legacy, usurping Forza Horizon 4 as the new pinnacle of open-world racing and as a graphical showcase for the new generation of Xbox console.” We scored the game an impressive 9/10!
Hot Wheels are doing well when it comes to video games, last year saw the release of Hot Wheels Unleashed which we rather liked. “Hot Wheels Unleashed puts the brand to perfect use, marrying bright and bold toy car racing with powerful track creation,” said Dom in our 8/10 review.
Microsoft announced their not-E3-because-it’s-cancelled-but-it’s-still-kind-of-E3 Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase for 12th June at 10AM PT – 6PM UK time.
The showcase will naturally feature whatever first party Xbox games that are coming out of Xbox Game Studios and titles from Bethesda – technically they’re still two separate publishing arms, owned by Microsoft’s Xbox division – but they will also be inviting partners from across the games industry to announce and showcase their own titles.
They promise a diverse line-up of games that will be coming to the Xbox ecosystem across both consoles and PC, and you can be sure that a whole host of them will be coming to Game Pass on both Xbox and PC as well.
We will probably get a look at Starfield but we already know that game has been delayed until 2023, along with with Redfall.
