Capcom has shared a new trailer and more details on their upcoming dinosaur battling co-op shooter, Exoprimal. Don your mech suits and shoot up some raptors across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2023.
The main game mode in Exoprimal is called Dino Survival, in which two teams of exosuit-wearing players venture into a ravaged world and try to complete v arious objectives before the other team can. These include Dinosaur Cull to cleave through hordes of dinos, VTOL defence where you hold a position, Data Key Security, Omega Charge, and Energy Taker. There’s also something called a Carnage Module, which will face you off against an almost unstoppable onslaught of dinosaurs.
Why are you doing all of this? Well, the Aibius Corporation created the artificial intelligence Leviathan, and it seems to have gone a little bit off the rails… now throwing humans into the fight to try and figure out how they can survive.
A part of that comes from the two exosuits that have been revealed, giving players different classes and roles. Barrage can leap up into the air and bombard enemies with its intense firepower from above, while Vigilant is the assault class that can use a rail gun to snipe enemies from afar.
A closed network test will be held before then, and you can sign up at exoprimal.com. It’s not been dated, but if Exoprimal’s barmy EDF-like dino battling has tickled your fancy, then you might as well sign up. Do you kind of just wish that this was Dino Crisis?
Update: More details of the closed network test have come out overnight. The closed network test will only be available via Steam and with three scheduled sessions through July and August. Additionally, you must have a Capcom ID.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll add that to the post now.
I appreciate that nobody wants adverts, but they’re sadly a necessary evil and we try to balance them as best we can to be sustainable.
