There’s no Gotham Knights without the Batman Family. With their mentor now gone, the Knights must come together and learn to work as a team and more importantly, function as a family. Through their differences they’ll each shine in their own light and hone their skills to step into the Knight.

The Knights, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood, will be facing off against some familiar faces including Harley Quinn, Clayface, Mr. Freeze and The Court of Owls. A recent trailer showed Mr Freeze utilising his technology to try and bring the cold to the residents of Gotham, while Clayface has mini clay minions he sends out to fight while also transforming himself to get the advantage in the fight. Harley Quinn seems to be leading her own army and while not properly featured there is a brief glimpse of a picture of Oswald Cobblepot, aka Penguin.

If you want more of taster of Gotham Knights then you can watch the first sixteen minutes of gameplay here after the game’s prologue which could likely feature the death of Batman. It was recently revealed that Gotham Knights is skipping last generation consoles. While it was originally announced with PS4 and Xbox One consoles in mind back in 2020, the game has faced a number of significant delays. It was originally expected for release in 2021, but has now been pushed back to the tail end of 2022, making the decision to cut the last generation support, which will help ease the load on the team through the final stretch.

The game will now only be coming to PlayStation 5Xbox Series X|S and PC with a new release date of October 21st, coming forward from the October 25th date.
