After more than a few leaks and rumours, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves PC release date has now been confirmed by Sony for 19th October.
Combining the single player adventures from Uncharted 4: Among Thieves and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy into one package, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves was released on PlayStation 5 in January this year with numerous enhancements for the new generation of consoles. However, while a PC version was promised for sometime after, it’s taken quite a bit longer than some might have expected for that to follow along.

For PC gamers eager to get their first taste of Uncharted, this should be a great adaptation. The games have been optimised for PC with plenty of quality of life enhancements, including a reimagined UI, scale sliders, GPU and VRAM detection, Variable Load Speed, and plenty more. The games will likely still look great on older PC hardware (they were originally released for the 2013 PS4 hardware after all), but will be scalable with adjustable texture and model quality, filtering, shadows, reflections and ambient occlusion. Resolutions will go all the way up to 4K, come with ultra-wide monitor support, and support for high refresh rates. There’s also built in support for AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2.
All in all, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves is following the template of Sony’s now familiar and accomplished PC port business. We’ve seen similar with God of War, Spider-Man and Days Gone, and this gives you a good preview of what to expect when The Last of Us Part I is ported over as well.
With all this variability in mind, Sony has published some comprehensive PC performance targets and hardware recommendations.

The bundle will be priced at £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99, matching the price point on PlayStation 5. The main thing that PC players will be missing out on in a cheap and easy way to upgrade to the collection. On PlayStation, anyone that owns either Uncharted 4 or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy can upgrade to the full two-game bundle for just £10.
These two games it includes are absolute gems of the action adventure genre, with Nathan Drake’s final swash-buckling adventure, and then the spin off that stars Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross.
Back in January, we said of the bundle: “Long after Nathan Drake hung up his holster for the last time a half decade ago, Uncharted’s legacy still remains. This collection crams two genre-defining prestige hits together – the kind of linear AAA action games we rarely see today. Let’s hope for more treasure-hunting adventure to come.”
