Marvel Snap, the quick fire mobile card battler, has officially launched this week. Along with launch bonuses for players, including an Incredible Hulk variant card, the first season is upon players. The season is Spider-Man focused and it is called Symbiote Invasion, which adds a new card, five new locations, new avatars, and card variants.
The Symbiote Invasion season pass costs £8.99 and will net those who pay for it a Miles Morales Spider-Man card. That card’s ability reads, “If a card moved last turn, this costs 1.” Further down the paid track of the season pass are boosters for Miles Morales, variants for the likes of Carnage and Spider-Woman, as well as some mystery variants. Players who opt to not to pay for the premium pass will still get some rewards on the Marvel Snap Symbiote Invasion for free including boosters, a couple of mystery variants, credits, and gold to spend in the Marvel Snap store. The five new locations that are part the Symbiote Invasion season pass are The Nexus, Oscorp Tower, Daily Bugle, Bar Sinister, and Machineworld.

Matches are so quick that you’ll rarely feel the sting of disappointment upon defeat, while each win pushes you towards the next card reveal. Like any live service game, it’s constantly evolving with balance patches a roadmap teasing new content and features. Let’s just hope we’ll see the developers lessen the grind and give players more ways to unlock their favourite Marvel heroes and villains in future.”
Marvel Snap is available to download for free on PC, Android, and iOS. Symbiote Invasion will be running until November 6th.
