The details for Marvel Snap’s third season is called The Power Cosmic, which will follow Warriors of Wakanda. The featured character will be The Silver Surfer, and there will be new locations as well as cards coming too. In addition, a new feature called the Token Shop will be added to the game too.
From Collection Level 500 players will be able get collector’s tokens from caches as they level up along the track. These tokens can then be used in the shop to buy cards that you do not yet have, with the cards available for sale rotating every eight hours. However, if there is a card in the shop you want but do not have enough tokens, you can pin the card so it does not rotate out. Collector’s Tokens will replace Boosters in the caches, with there being a 25% chance of getting 100 tokens from a cache. If a player has all series 3 card this will get boosted to with a 22% chance to get 400 tokens. Series 4 and Series 5 cards will be added to Marvel Snap too. Series 4 are rare cards, ten times rarer than series 3 cards. Series 5 cards are ultra rare and will include Galactus and Thanos, though they are ten times rarer than series 4 cards. The amount of tokens needed for each series are as follows.
- Series 3 Card: 1000 Tokens
- Series 4 Card: 3000 Tokens
- Series 5 Card: 6000 Tokens
As time goes on cards will move down series levels as more cards are added to the game in the future, and to minimise the gap between new players and seasoned players. To start things off players will get tokens depending on their level, starting at level 500. Anyone under that level will get 3000 tokens once they hit level 500.
