Alongside today’s launch of The Callisto Protocol, Striking Distance has revealed the roadmap of both free and paid DLC and updates coming to the horror game.
Starting in February 2023, a free update will bring both New Game+ and a Hardcore difficulty mode for all players of the game. Alongside that will be the first part of the Season Pass, the Outer Way Skin Collection. That will be followed by the Contagion bundle, Riot bundle and finally some story DLC in Summer 2023.

Dig deeper into the horrifying secrets of The Callisto Protocol.
The Callisto Protocol comes from Striking Distance, the new studio founded by Glen Schofield, who was executive producer on the original Dead Space. Naturally there’s plenty of common ground here, with many expecting that The Callisto Protocol is the spiritual successor to the Dead Space franchise (not to discount the Dead Space remake, of course!).
In our review in progress, Jim said, “we can confidently say Dead Space fans will delight in its bloody mutant-shredding carnage, Striking Distance Studios using the classic 2008 horror as a template while inventing new and interesting gameplay ideas of its own.”
