Sony and Behaviour Interactive have announced that Meet Your Maker will be one of April’s free PlayStation Plus monthly games. Launching day one into the service, it will be available for all Essentials subscribers and up, and across both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
This latest game from the Dead By Daylight developer is another asymmetrical, somewhat experimental multiplayer game.
All players can engage with two sides of Meet Your Maker, tasked on the one hand with building challenging mazes filled with traps, AI defenders and more, and then with invading the mazes of other players as a Raider, trying to defeat all the obstacles in front of you. In both cases – whether its successfully defending your own base or besting the challenge of another player’s, you’ll collect resources to further your own progression.
Meet Your Maker is coming out on 4th April across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
When will the other April PS Plus games be announced?
Traditionally Sony has made their PS Plus monthly game announcements on the final Wednesday of the previous month, but has seemingly started to mix things up after months and months of the game lineup being leaked by a well-connected French deal hunter. The March games were revealed during the State of Play stream in February, and now the tentpole game for April has been confirmed.
That said, it’s still likely that the full line up is still confirmed by Sony on 29th March at 4:30PM UK time.
Remind me, what are the march 2023 PlayStation Plus games?
The PlayStation Plus games for March 2023Â are available right up until April’s games go live, and include the following trio:
- Battlefield 2042
- Minecraft Dungeons
- Code Vein
PlayStation Plus Collection is going away
Do not forget! The PlayStation Plus Collection of 19 great PS4 games is going away in May. Any PS5 owning PS Plus subscriber can grab the games until 9th May 2023, and if you do so in time, then you’ll continue to have access to them for as long as you’re a PS Plus subscriber. There’s some great games here, including The Last of UsRemastered, God of War, Until Dawn and Uncharted 4, so make sure to redeem them while you can!
What’s the deal with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium?
The PlayStation Plus relaunch took place back in the middle of 2022, transforming the PS Plus we once knew into a three tiered subscription service that bundles in and expands what was once PlayStation Now. The classic PS Plus is now called PS Plus Essential, giving access to online multiplayer gaming, cloud save backups, exclusive offers and at least 2 free monthly games. PS Plus Extra then adds a catalogue of PS4 and PS5 games into the mix, while PS Plus Deluxe and Premium (depending on your region) adds older PS2, PS1 and PSP game emulation, and game streaming for PS3 and other titles.
