A new game called Space Prison has been announced by Wooden Alien, a new Krakow-based studio. The game is a tactical turn-based survival brawler with cell-base building elements and a social ladder system, which will dictate the gangs and alliances you will be able to join as you look to gain freedom from this intergalactic penitentiary.
“Space Prison combines survival with tactics and social dynamics” said Hubert Kubit, CEO at Wooden Alien. “We wanted to create a game that would immerse players in a detailed sci fi adventure universe and offer them a truly unique gameplay experience. With Space Prison, we believe we are well on our way to achieving that goal and are thrilled to be bringing it to PC, PlayStation and Xbox players”
Players will be taking control one of the prisoners, all of which are different alien creatures. There are various gangs to join with each having their own play styles and abilities to use in fights. They also have their own hideouts. Outside of battles, players will be able to customise their cells and create items such as crafting benches and secret hiding spots to store items that could help with escaping prison. A release date for Space Prisons is yet to be confirmed, but it will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
