Announced during the Xbox Games Showcase yesterday, Capcom has revealed Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The game is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the game also out on day one for Xbox Game Pass.
There’s a thoroughly arresting style to the game, which draws inspiration from traditional Japanese theatre, costumes and mythological creatures, it’s a truly fascinating looking game that blend a more performative element into its combat.
In an adapted Haiku form, the trailer blurb reads:
A new tale of the Kami awaits.
Witness an epic clash between the spirit realm and mortal man,
featuring traditional Japanese aesthetics.
