Predecessor, the third person MOBA from Omeda Studio, will be getting a PS4 and PS5 closed beta. It is a game that has been inspired by Paragon and has been in beta on PC for close to year. Predecessor’s beta will consist of two teams of five competing on maps that have the standard three lanes found in MOBAs.
The Predecessor PlayStation closed beta will see 30 characters that will be playable, with players given a third person perspective to navigate the battles. Objectives include destroying towers, killing enemies, and getting gold. As games go on, gold can be used to buy different abilities such as teleporting and freezing time. The beta will be cross platform, so PlayStation players will be competing with PC players.
The Predecessor beta for PS4 and PS5 will start on December 5th, and to sign up you need to go on the official website. The PlayStation Closed Beta Predecessor sign up page is here. Predecessor also runs on Unreal Engine 5, making it the first MOBA to do so. The progress and unlocks made in the beta will carry on over to the final release of Predecessor.
