The Outlast Trials official release date is March 5th 2024

The Outlast Trials has an official release date and confirmation that it is coming to consoles. The Outlast Trials will be released on March 5th, 2024 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It has also been confirmed by Red Barrels that there will be two versions of the game to purchase when it releases.

The two versions of The Outlast Trials are:

  • STANDARD EDITION (game only) for $39.99 USD / $49.99 CAN / €39.99 EUR / £31.99 GBP
  • DELUXE EDITION (game + Reagent Starter Pack) for $49.99 USD / $63.99 CAN / €49.99 EUR / £41.74 GBP

The Reagent Start pack will include four legendary skins, exclusive cell items, icons, and cell posters. The Outlast Trials has been in development since 2019 and has been in closed beta. The game was originally set to release in 2021 and then was pushed back to 2022. The launch content of the game will include:

  • New Trial – All-new Toy Factory trial pitting subjects against the fearsome Mother Gooseberry.
  • New MK-Challenges – Designed for the Toy Factory environment.
  • Full Controller Support – Controller, vibrations and select different controller layouts to fit your playstyle.
  • New Evidence Documents – Continue to learn more about the Murkoff backstory and the Outlast lore.
  • New Character Customization – Many new pieces of cosmetics to unlock.
  • New Cell Decorations – Decorate your cell with new cosmetics.
  • New Legendary Outfits – Acquire  new reborn legendary outfits.
  • Increased Level Cap – Continue your therapy up to level 65.
  • New Amps – Fine tune your loadout with many new Amps.
  • Weekly Programs – Comeback every week to experience new therapies.
  • Plus… many more quality of life improvements, balancing and bug fixes.

This is a significantly different game to the first two Outlast titles, serving as a prequel to the series so far and incorporating new multiplayer elements for those that want to face the terror with friends by their side.
