We’ve taken a sharp left turn into autumn this week, with wet and windy weather, so this is definitely one for trying to take in some of the wealth of big new games that have already come out for autumn. Is anyone making a dash through Astro Bot this weekend?

We started off with eights and only got better from there with this week’s selection of reviews, the cherry on top being simply delightful Astro Bot.

With the all-too-soon shutdown of Concord, Tuff took a scathing look back at Sony’s recent business decisions and how, despite them being the market leader, they’ve not gone all that smoothly.

I had the chance to share some more big previews this week, with my hands on with the simply delightful The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which

I also had some quick thoughts and impressions on the racing two-fer of Endurance Motorsport Series and Nacon’s first racing wheel, the Revosim Pure. That contrasts significantly with the filth of Jackbox Naughty Pack, and also for the stealth action comfort food of Sniper Elite: Resistance.

And Dom went hands on with the delightfully stylish MIO: Memories In Orbit, which is definitely one to keep your eyes on.

Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured Astro Bot, Age of Mythology: Retold & Star Wars Outlaws.

Now then, what have you all been playing?

  • Andrewww’s had a stressful week, but thankfully found some time for some gaming with Horizon Forbidden West. Unfortunately, that included the anxiety inducing size of the game, so after 30 hours in, he’s only 33% completed, and it’s leaving PS Plus soon!
  • And MrYd has played mostly Diablo 4 and Balatro of late, before this week’s appearance of Vampire Survivors on PlayStation, which has been a lot of fun so far. Oh, and he met Sir Ian Livingstone of Fighting Fantasy fame at work!
