Something for the Weekend – 12/10/24

There’s some sneezy sniffles in store for my weekend (thankfully without a C-word involved, at least), so I’m looking forward to hunkering down with games today and as much NFL as I can fit in my eyeholes tomorrow. Though I suppose I should try to finish some DIY projects as well…

Let’s get to the week’s gaming news and reviews, though, with a big huge JRPG that should be high on everyone’s wish lists.

In the News This Week

Games in Review & Featured Articles

JRPG fans should be over the moon with Metaphor: ReFantazio, a new game that branches off the Persona style of role playing in a new direction.

Beyond the reviews, Miguel delved into the big Khaos Reigns DLC for Mortal Kombat 1, but came away a bit disappointed. Aran then previewed cute looking llama ’em up Llamalandia, and I got some hands on time with Mario & Luigi: Brothership.

Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured Metaphor: ReFantazio, Until Dawn and Cyberpunk 2077.

Let’s see what you’ve been up to:

  • TSBonyman completed the point & click adventure Truberbrook, continued on with Astro Bot and grabbed High on Life and the Sherlock Holmes bundle on sale, where he’s already liking the first case and detecting mechanics.

That’s the round up for this week. Hope you have a great weekend ahead!
