Sony has confirmed the full list of games that will be PS5 Pro enhanced when the mid-generation high-powered console launches later this week. While many were already known, it’s now fully confirmed that 55 PlayStation 5 games will take advantage of the PS5 Pro hardware.
What Sony has not detailed is the specific enhancements that each game is using. The PS5 Pro can be used in a number of ways, with Sony talking up the ability to combine the commonly seen 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance modes on PS5, giving Fidelity level graphics at Performance level frame rates. Alternatively, developers could lean in on using the beefier GPU to push ray traced graphics. And across the board, games can use PSSR for hardware upscaling that’s of a higher quality than FSR 2.
But again, all of this will be on a game-by-game basis and used in different ways by different developers.
