During today’s Little Nightmares showcase, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games confirmed that Little Nightmares will be released on October 10th, 2025. A new trailer has been released that shows some gameplay and cinematic footage, giving a brief look of what to expect as you venture into the funfair. Little Nightmares 3 will be available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2.
Pre-orders for Little Nightmares 3 are open today for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox with pre-orders for Switch and Switch 2 to open at a later date. There are four editions to pick from for Little Nightmares 3. Those are:
- Standard Edition (£34.99) – Includes the base game only.
- Deluxe Edition (£49.99) – Includes the base game, Secrets of The Spiral – Expansion Pass: with 2 additional chapters to explore, available at a later date – and the Ferryman Costumes Set (exclusive to the Expansion Pass), Residents Costumes Pack – with 4 sets of 4 costumes revisiting Residents from previous games.
- Mirror Edition (£74.99) – All of the Deluxe Edition content, an exclusive figurine of Low and Alone wandering in the Necropolis (12cm), a premium metal case, the game’s artbook showcasing unseen sketches, the physical & digital soundtrack of the game, a pack of 5 charmingly horrifying high-quality stickers, and themed box depicting the iconic game’s mirrors.
- Premium Spiral Edition (£99.99) – All of the Mirror Edition content, high-quality controller & phone holder representing a Nome (22cm), a music base for the figurine, making it spin while playing an iconic melody from the Necropolis, and a metal double-sided coin featuring Low and Alone on each side of the coin (4.5 cm in diameter).
In addition to the announcement of the release date for Little Nightmares 3, there was confirmation that there would be a second season of The Little Nightmares podcast The Sounds of Nightmares though a date is yet to be confirmed on when that will be ready to release. Additionally, a novel set in the world of Little Nightmares starring a character called Ruse and that will launch in September. Following that in October, alongside the release of the game there will be a comic book series called Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere with a character called Hush. There will be a total of four issues released monthly up to January.
That was not all that was announced during the showcase, as a new project has been teased. This is a stop motion project set in the Little Nightmares universe. The teaser, below, shows a girl receive a doll house as a gift. There is no further information on what the project entails, with more details to follow at a later date.
