It’s the middle of the sporting summer in the UK, with Wimbledon, the British Grand Prix, cricket and the warm up matches for the Lions tour all going on. Obviously anything in the UK is subject to British weather, and it definitely seems to be returning to type for the weekend.

Games in Review & Featured Articles
Just a handful of reviews this week, starting with games:
- I Am Your Beast – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 9/10
- Rooftops & Alleys – PS5, XSX|S, NSW, PC – 7/10
- Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut – NSW2 – 7/10
And then a little bit of retro gaming hardware:
Miyoo Flip V2 – 8/10
And then we got stuck into a healthy batch of previews. For new Nintendo Switch 2 owners, the fact that Donkey Kong Bananza is coming from the Super Mario Odyssey team makes it much more intriguing.
I also brought some previews of Raw Fury titles with the retro strategy of Craftlings and the Irish supernatural mystery The Séance of Blake Manor, and separately the vehicular Bullet Heaven of TerraTech Legion. Dom also had a great time checking out Formula Legends and Steve had the “stinky” First Person Booter Glum on his playlist.
And rounding out the week, What We Played featured my hands on with Rooftops & Alleys, Atomfall and Formula Legends.

What have you been playing?
- TSBonyman’s about 70 hours into Tainted Grail, which is a huge amount of time, but he’s suffering a crash maybe once per 4-5 hour play session, which he’s putting up with and thankfully isn’t affecting his enjoyment.
That’s the round up for this week’s round up, enjoy the weekend and we’ll see you for more gaming gubbins on Monday.
