The classic castle building strategy series is returning with a full sequel in Stronghold 4.
It’s been a little while since the last original entry in the series, the Ancient China-based Stronghold Warlords, and Stronghold 4 is coming back to a Medieval European style setting.
Stronghold 4 will follow the tale of Penryn of Wethel, who rises from a humble shepherd to a military leader through the story. A cast of new and returning characters will guide his journey, including performances from Ben Starr, Samantha Béart, Walles Hamonde and Harry McEntire.
That story will play out across 22 missions, introducing you to managing your castle economy, battling hostile outlaws, rival laws and even preparing for the elements.
A demo will drop onto Steam on 23rd June, before heading into an Early Access release.
