The Zelda 40th Anniversary concert series is playing through 2027

To mark the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo has announced a live concert series which will tour the world through 2027. They’ve also debuted a brand new arrangement of the classic themes and motifs, which was used to open the Nintendo Direct.

This new orchestral arrangement was themed around Wisdom, Power, and Courage, the virtues of the Triforce according to Nintendo.

The tour starts on 23rd January in Tokyo, with further concerts in Japan taking place through to April. However, the North American leg will begin on 22nd February in Chicago, the European leg on 3rd April in London, and the Australian tour begins on 13th May in Melbourne. The full Japanese schedule is already known, with the other legs to be confirmed fully via zelda.gameconcerts.com

Given how well-known and beloved the music from The Legend of Zelda is, with the series having spanned… well, 40 years, I would expect these to sell out pretty quickly.
