HoYoverse has revealed version 4.6 of Honkai: Star Rail, titled Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, will launch on 28th September 2026.
The update brings a new main mission, a new character and Warp banners, while some extras including a crossover with another HoYoverse game, Zenless Zone Zero, has also been announced.
Following on from Nihilux revealing her identity as Aha, the Aeon of Elation, they will head to the Life Sciences Institude within the Astropolis to find out what the scheme to “weaponize the husk” means. It’s suspected that the Life Sciences leader Madam Yabuli has ties to the a faction that worships the Voracity in Astropolis. Team up with the Trailblazer and Nihilux to crush this conspiracy.
This update will make Pearl, a 5-star Ice character, a playable character. In combat she can consume her “Certified Banger” to offset somedamage for all allies, enter the “Deep Learning” state to learn the combat a teammate and gain an Enhanced ATK – this is further boosted if this teammate or the team as a whole is made up of Elation characters.
This version’s events will bring the new ‘Love, Ghosts & Robots’, while the combat reality show ‘Interastral Peace Gala: One Take’, will also kick off. There’s also new ‘Astral Imagea’ gameplay that will debut.
And then there’s the collabs. There’s one with Razer, who will produce peripherals featuring Silver Wolf LV.999 across gaming chair, keyboard, mouse and headset. In-game, you’ve then got Zenless Zone Zero characters Ellen and Astra joining the cosmic adventure in future update Version 4.8. More details on both will be revealed soon.
