Capcom has released a new trailer for Street Fighter x Tekken that goes through all of the new features revealed at TGS. This is the first time we get to see Heihachi, Lili, Zangief, and Rolento in action.
Pandora Mode is one of the new mechanics introduced. Basically, you can kill off your teammate in exchange for more power. It seems like the character that activates Pandora is the one that’s sacrificed. You probably don’t want to use this technique at the beginning of a round.
The online training mode is what I’m most excited about. You can train cooperatively with a friend or simply spar against them. As simple as that may sound, this is actually a groundbreaking new feature for the fighting game genre. As with most Capcom fighting games, you’ll be able to accept challenges from other players while in training mode.
Scramble mode is another new feature in Street Fighter x Tekken. In this mode, there is no tag mechanic. Instead, all four characters fight on screen at the same time. It looks really chaotic.
