PSN Store Update: 21/09/11

[drop2]Another week, another Wednesday, another PlayStation Network Store Update.

This one sees the release of Criterion’s Burnout Crash! – the hugely Marmite game that people either seem to love or hate. We’ll have our full review up as soon as we can, but in the meantime have a read of Kris’ hands-on from earlier and see if it’s your sort of game.

“So, yes we may have mocked Crash,” Kris said in the preview, “we may have said we didn’t want this and we may have thought that we were being short changed by Criterion. The thing is, while we’re not getting what we may have wanted, it doesn’t really matter: Criterion came up with something better.”

Elsewhere there’s the usual pile of DLC (and 50% off Resident Evil 4 for Plussers) so head on over to the second page (link below) to see what else is there for download this week.

Oh – and who’s buying Driver: San Francisco for £58…?

  1. Driver San Francisco for me…

Been waiting for a digital download of that, so I can blow £57.99 in one go.

    • I hate you… I was going to make a joke regarding that price.

    • I had to re-read it. It was only about £34 on release day and that was with a box, disc and manual. lol

    • Yeah me too, I might buy it on my other account too, seeing as its such a great price

    • Ubisoft do it again!!!

Where do they come up with these wonderful pricing regimes?

      • I dunno, but we should set NATO on them… Get some regime change… Get it? No? Oh.

    • for £57.99 i’d be wanting a “blow” as well.

    • I was going to buy it second hand, but instead I think i’ll blow £58 on the digital download, that I can’t trade in for another game. IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!

    • Basically putting us off downloads…..sure £57.99 they won’t care, let them buy two PSN cards.. >_>

  2. Fighting Force!!!!! :D

  3. BTW – I think the Black Ops Zombie Map Pack is free for those that purchased the Prestige Edition, and it might come with the soundtrack (although not confirmed).

  4. £57.99?! Does that come with the other Driver Games as well? Because then at least the price could just about be justified.

  5. resi 4 and the burnout demo for me. though i doubt i will get much time to play them with gears 3 being so damn good.

  6. Pity there is no discount on Burnout for Plussers, I don’t think I want to spend £7.99 on it when it may potentially be four quid next month.

  7. Might of Magic: Clash of Heroes is a great game to pick up in the sale even though its a couple of quid cheap. I’m gonna get Resident Evil 4 and finally give it a try.

  8. I might get Beyond Good and Evil, I’ve been waiting for an excuse to get this and a sale is as good any :)

  9. Resi 4 and probably a trial of Crash for me.

Been contemplating Clash of Heroes awhile too…hmm…

  10. Bit underwhelmed by those sale prices – Sure a discount is nice, but it has to be a worthwhile discount to get me to take the plunge.

Plus i am pretty sure that PoP Classic, Scott Pilgrim & TMNT have all been cheaper before.

    • They do seem to be on sale every month!
