Ah, Friday, you’re the perfect day for something like this.
“As a kick-off to restarting this 3 year old channel and in anticipation for this new game,” says YouTuber ClassicEvil, “I take the LittleBigPlanet 2 engine, once again, and remake the jaw-dropping and ground-breaking experience Naughty Dog is crafting for us called ‘The Last of Us’.”
Apparently it took the guy 2 weeks to make the trailer, so do go and visit the page and drop a comment if you like it!

Cool, was impressed by this and posted it in the forum earlier!

#never build any levels and own both versions..

Hmmm, my son (he’s 7) loves LBP and LBP2. What narks me a little is that some very talented people who create these levels seem to forget that the game has a ‘7’ rating and insert language inappropriate for a 7 year old.
Any self respecting parent would not be happy about this sort of language being played out in videos or games in front of their young children.

Well said that man – Whilst i respect peoples creative urges & people shoule be free to create what they like, it shouldn’t be to the detriment of others.
I have only played the first one & not spent a great amount of time creating – Is there any way that content could be restricted to younger users perhaps?
Y’know, like an age gate, but something that actually works!

Swear words do get your levels removed from LBP. There is even a “Good Grief” button dedicated to it. (select)

…or perhaps LBP could introduce a simple mature content filter, so it doesn’t stop older users creating what they want :P

Can you actually watch this in LBP? As far as I am aware you cannot import audio files so there is no way the sound from the trailer could be available in LBP. It would have to be edited in to the video manually on a PC..
Tuffcub
To clarify: The video only exists on YouTube, not in LBP – I think?
PriceofWar
He has recorded the LBP version without any sound and simply added the audio from TLOU trailer to make that video for the internet. I doubt you’ll find this on LBP as it simply wouldn’t be half as good (recorded audio isn’t great on there).
He’s a talented creator and I’m sure he perfectly knows what is and isn’t acceptable when it comes to publishing an actual level.

Tis impressive and seeing as every time i try to create a level, LBP2 removes it self from my PS3 and walks back into it’s case then somehow puts itself back on the shelf, i’m surprised it’s possible to create this. :O
Forrest_01
Ahh, so that’s what the new ‘Remove Disc’ option does! :D
The Lone Steven
The bloody thing has caused my PS3 and games to become self aware. They keep removing themselves from the console and putting themselves away. Tis very annoying trying to play a game when that happens. :(

Not too shabby. Still, some of the best levels in LBP make this a very minor feat

Was good enough to give me the goose bumps…
Very well made indeed.

Now that trailer was just awesome, but that was 2 weeks of work? Woaw, talk about dedication, that’s the absolute maximum time I can bare in making an LBP Level (and I prefer LBP 1 to LBP 2 everytime). :-)

cute!
