We’ve just got word through on the US pre-order incentives for the more casually-themed Forza game due out at the end of October. Everyone who pre-orders with “participating US retailers” will get a download code for a 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 to drive in Forza 4 right now.
In addition to that, early orders will get a download code to unlock one of five cars for Forza Horizon, which will be usable when they get their hands on that game on October 23rd. Here’s the selection:
- 2012 Aston Martin Virage
- 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
- 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia
- 2010 Nissan 370Z
- 2010 Volkswagen Golf R
You might also want to pre-order the Collector’s Edition which, as usual, will get you immediate VIP status. You’ll be able to get access to an unspecified selection of five VIP cars on launch, as well as the game disc coming encased in the lovely steelbook case. Those ordering the Collector’s Edition will also get access to an “Accelerator Token Pack” which will speed up career progress and give you in-game advantages.
No word on whether these incentives will stretch to Europe or not but we’ll keep you informed if anything interesting pops up.
