We all thought that we were going to have to wait for a second season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead before we got to experience more from their infected world of survival that we’ve come to know and love.
However, that’s not the case, with head writer Gary Whitta spilling all to IGN in an interview, teasing that “You won’t have to wait for season two to play more Walking Dead,” although going on to say that “season two is coming” but there’s “not much to say because it really is very early…it’s a way off”.
So, to keep fans happy in between the break they’re making more content – something extra. Who knows if that’s a new episode following on from the end or even some prequel material, if that’s possible, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon.
But, knowing that it’s a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more walking Dead…there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.
Although the statement above didn’t actually clarify anything, Whitta teased that there definitely is something in the works that should “make the wait for season two slightly less agonizing.”
The Walking Dead was the latest game in our WeView feature, where you all got the chance to put your thoughts down about the game. The verdict was very positive indeed, despite some negative comments.

Perhaps DLC…..what ever happened to that girl who got seperated in the school/college? Maybe her story or another characters’. That’s pretty cool news though.

I’d love a prequel, but that would seriously hinder the scope for how your actions affect the game. As in the end you know what characters will still be with you by the end.
However, would be smart if your choices in the prequel could affect Season 2 for returning characters. Anyway, more Clementine please.
