Guerrilla Games have released a couple of new screens and further information about the new Helghast soldiers you will encounter in Killzone Shadow Fall.

The Helghast Assault Troopers are the backbone of the Helghan Army. Better trained and better equipped than the troopers in Killzone 3, the average Trooper is said to be “smarter and deadlier than ever.”

The Engineer class provide support by constructing automated turrets or deploying nano shields.

The most aggressive Helghast become Commandos equipped with shotguns, miniguns and nano shields. They specialise in brute force and overwhelming firepower.
Guerrilla have also revealed just how involved they were in the development of the PlayStation 4, rejecting countless prototypes for the DualShock controller including one where “they had replaced all of the buttons [so that they] were touch-sensitive. We just said, ‘No’.”
“We really pushed them to make better triggers that go up,” explained Guerrilla Games lead designer Eric Boltjes. “Also stuff like the touch-pad. When I first saw it on the prototype controller I was like, ‘What the hell am I supposed to do with that? It’s not an iPhone game.’”
“I’m really surprised as to how well that little thing works. I’m not promoting it, I don’t have to sell that controller, but I’m really happy with how it works in our game. Everything else works now, from response time, the dead-zones, everything is better. The lag is gone, and that makes Killzone a better game.”

Is he suggesting one of the prototype was like the valve controller? Glad they said no to that

Its nice to hear that a developer had such influence over the hardware. By the sounds of it the DuelShock 4 should be a decent upgrade
