The PlanetSide 2 beta on PS4 is something that was expected to arrive in 2014. Unless Sony Online Entertainment are planning to launch it before 23:59 on Wednesday that isn’t happening. What is happening though may be the launch of the beta in January, at least according to SOE President, John Smedley. He responded to a fan inquiry on the status of the PS4 version of PlanetSide 2, more specifically when players could get their taste of it.
