Short version of a long story: 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment made a new Duke Nukem game but forgot they had sold the rights, so had to re-engineer the game and remove all the Duke.
He has been replaced by the ass-kicking Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, who must rescue the President whilst killing lots of aliens. I also note that Ms Harrison has gained more clothes and more armour since we last saw her and now has a metal chest piece to protect her assets, rather than the skimpy bra she previously wore.
Bombshell will be released in 2015 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
