Klei Entertainment has announced that it is looking for players to join a closed beta test for Don’t Starve Together on PS4. The beta is scheduled to run for approximately six weeks, after which all progress will be wiped. There will be limited space so Klei is asking that people only sign up if they will actually be playing the beta. The company is looking for experienced Don’t Starve players to help find any bugs that pop up during the beta so they can be fixed, and would prefer players that already have Don’t Starve Together accounts.
The online portion will require PlayStation Plus but there is local play available too. There are no gift drops in this beta as these would be wiped at the end of the testing period too. Klei may also run a similar test on Xbox One though nothing is confirmed yet.
