Quantum Break and Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment are branching out with their next project, code named P7. Previous games have been console exclusive to Xbox but their financial reports show that the new game will be heading to PlayStation 4.
Remedy is also working on a game project codenamed P7. The company’s strategy is to release the game on a wider range of platforms, which is why Remedy is developing its Northlight technology also for PlayStation 4 consoles.
FYI, Northlight is the Remedy game engine. The reasons for the move to multi platform are simple, “we want to reach a larger audience,” they tweeted.

I wonder if they’re feeling the pinch by catering to a considerably smaller audience (when compared to the PS4’s install-base). It certainly looks that way. However, more dev-time but hopefully proportionately smaller with greater dividends with the numbers it could reach.
