Relive Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield’s investigation of the Queen Zenobia cruise ship on the current generation of consoles, as Capcom have announced that Resident Evil Revelations will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 29th August this year.
This port of the game will feature a full HD resolution, improved frame rate, more environmental detail and refined creature movement, with all previous DLC included as unlockables. Its a comprehensive port, to the extent that I’m sure that plenty of people at Capcom were eager to call this a remaster. They didn’t though, which I think earns them some brownie points.
Additionally, Revelations and its follow up Revelations 2 have both been announced for Nintendo Switch, which will arrive in late 2017.
