The multiplayer spaceship battle game Dreadnought has now entered open beta on PS4, allowing players to have a go at commanding their own Capital style ship. The beta features a total of eight maps to battle across, two of which will be brand new even for those who have taken part in Dreadnought’s closed beta. Along with eight maps PS4 players will get the Hactar ship for free, which is tier IV ship so packs some firepower.
The open beta also brings with a new Sharefactory theme, two dynamic themes for free, PS4 Pro graphical optimisations, and the ability to turn the in game currency into XP. New items are also available on Dreadnought’s market, including the Trident hero ship, the Knight bundle which has a colour scheme and emblem, and GP Packs. GP is the currency used in game to purchase things from the market. Dreadnought also incorporates your PSN friend list so you can see who is available to play without leaving the game.
