Gran Turismo Sport’s Car Classes And Track List Revealed With A New Trailer

Just ahead of the GT Sport demo that will run this weekend, Sony have explained how the various cars in the game will be grouped into various different classes and revealed the full list of tracks that will appear.

Car classes will range from N to X, covering road cars through different sporting disciplines and onto the vehicles that are simply too powerful or outlandish to fit anywhere else. Here  are some  examples:

  • Group N – Citroen Ds3 Racing, Mazda Atenza Sedan, Aston Martin Vulcan
  • Group 4 – Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport
  • Group 3 – Lexus RC F GT3 Prototype, Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo
  • Group 1 – Totota TS050 Hybrid ’16, Porsche 919 Hybrid ’16, Alpine Vision Gran Turismo 2017
  • Group B – rally cars that I can’t quite make out
  • Group X – Honda Project

Meanwhile the track list features 40 circuits in 17 locations, with a mixture of real and fantasy tracks.

  1. I hope the ‘Honda Project’s has nothing to do with the department that builds the F1 engines, or it will be spending most of it’s time in the pits!

  2. Lol, fortunately it’s only the paintjob from a 60’s F1 car. The engine though should be quality, it’s a Moto GP unit from the Honda RC213 road bikes they sold around 3 years ago.

  3. What the heck is that? It’s…… a toy! That’s gotta be based on a toy. I mean, look at it. It looks rubbish and steering wheel on the right/left? Surely for a F1 tier car, you don’t want that.

    Heck, it looks like that it would tip over because of it seeming to be a very light car. Thing. It makes the old CHM Top Gear challenge vehicles seem like a good idea(Though to be fair, some of them were good ideas. The Toybota etc..) But if you make CHM stuff seem like good ideas, you kinda need to rethink your design.
