If you have read Tef’s feature on Metal Gear Survive you will know that’s actually quite good. “I was pleasantly surprised to find a game that actually manages to add something meaningful to Metal Gear Solid V,” says our esteemed leader.
If you want to check out the game for yourselves and have one of those new fangled PlayStation 4 jobbies then you’re in luck as the open beta starts tomorrow, January 18th, and runs until January 22nd.

Your objective will be to work together to defend a Wormhole Digger from waves of enemies, and yes, that means you can player with chums as the beta will include four player co-op.
The PlayStation Blog has some top tips on what to do in the beta so head over there and take a look. They also say the beta is available to download right now but I can’t see it on the PlayStation Store.
