A few months back it was announced that Sam Barlow, the main mind behind Her Story, had been working on a Wargames game. It is to be a live action interactive game and bring the premise of the 1983 movie to the present day. The new version stars Jess Nurse as Kelly. Kelly is the leader of a hacker activist group whose aim is to bring peace, though there actions cause more issues instead. The six episode series will have players make choices that will affect what happens.
Sam Barlow has teamed up with Eko, a studio who are aiming to push more interactive series like #Wargames. Eko has created other titles in the past but this could be considered the big release for the company. #Wargames will be available on Steam, mobile. Vudo, Eko, with an Xbox One release to follow soon.
