Free to play Dead by Daylight Mobile has launched on Andoid and iOS

The hugely popular online horror game Dead by Daylight from developer Behaviour Interactive has been ported to mobile so you slay why you sashay. It’s not just the main game either Steve, Nancy, and The Demorgon from the Stranger Things DLC are available as are Ghostface from Scream and Michael Myers with more characters are on the way.

“Launch is just the beginning; the Dead by Daylight universe is ever-evolving,” say Behaviour Interactive. “Bringing the Stranger Things chapter to Mobile marks the start of a cadence to catch up on maps, Characters, and balance changes. Keep an eye on our social channels to stay up to date with all upcoming feature and content.”

To celebrate the launch a Bloodhunt+ event is in progress.

Starting Thursday April 16th at 12:00 UTC until April 22nd, earn double character experience and Bloodpoints in Trials. This is the perfect opportunity to get a head start on levelling up characters to unlock new perks, and gather resources to play the Bloodmarket for items, add-ons, customizations, and more.

“Developed by a dedicated mobile team, Dead by Daylight Mobile will be fully optimised and offer the same gameplay and modes that fans enjoy, with new controls and an experience carefully crafted for smartphones and tablets,” say Behaviour Interactive

The following are the minimum device specifications required to play the game:

Apple Users
OS: iOS 11 or above
Hardware: iPhone SE, 6S and above

Android Users
OS: Android v7.0 (Nougat OS) or above
Hardware: Samsung Galaxy S7 or equivalent

If you wish to download the mobile version, which is of course free to play, click here for the Android version or click here for the iOS version. The game is already available of PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and mostly recently launched on Nintendo Switch.

Admittedly, we weren’t too hot on Dead By Daylight when it originally made the leap to PlayStation 4 in 2017. When compared with Friday The 13th: The Game, we found ourselves siding with Jason. However, the game has been very popular and many of the annoying bugs and problems have been removed with patches.
